Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Referral Coordinator to manage referral requests, schedule patient visits, tests, procedures, and surgeries across our health system. The role requires strong knowledge of scheduling systems and accurate verification of patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility to ensure timely referrals.

Ideal candidates have Virginia MLTSS (UAI) certification and Epic referral coordinator training, plus advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Virginia MLTSS (UAI) Certification required and Epic referral coordinator training.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all referral requests, including scheduling patient visits, testing, procedures, and surgeries.
