Job summary

The role requires senior healthcare IT leadership with a proven track record in enterprise Epic deployments from planning through go-live and stabilization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of healthcare IT project/program management experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise Epic implementations.
• Experience managing full lifecycle Epic deployments in acute care or ambulatory settings.
• Strong understanding of Epic methodologies and governance.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and multiple work streams.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with PMI, Agile, Waterfall, or similar project management approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Epic implementation program across scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master project plan with milestones and dependencies.
• Partner with executive sponsors and stakeholders to drive project success.
• Establish governance structures and provide executive-level status reporting.
• Coordinate activities across application teams, infrastructure, and training.
• Monitor budgets and vendor performance; mitigate risks and issues.
• Oversee readiness activities including testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.
• Foster collaboration and transparent communication across internal teams and partners.
