Job description

As key member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role leads the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical and financial systems for the Ambulatory process units of The Christ Hospital. The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• System Analysis, Development, Build, and Implementation for Epic Professional Billing and Claims.
• Provide End-User Support for Billing and Claims.
• Develop, Support, and Maintain Documentation, Policy and Procedures.
• System Testing and AcceptanceProject ManagementDevelopment and implementation of Revenue Cycle Best Practices.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience.

And or an associates degree with more commensurate job related experience.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• - Epic application certification and experience preferred
• - 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience or relevant ambulatory Revenue Cycle background (Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Claims, etc.)
• - Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously
• - Strong attention to detail
• - Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users - both written and verbal
• - Skilled at problem solving
• - Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
• - Possesses an understanding and high-aptitude for computer system capabilities to address process requirements
• - Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• - Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
• - Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements
• - Bachelors degree in information systems, nursing, or related discipline
• - Strong presentation skills with experience in presenting directly to management and clinicians.
