Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a knowledgeable Information Systems Analyst to lead Epic Professional Billing and Claims initiatives within ambulatory processes. You will analyze, design, and deploy systems, while supporting end users and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams.

Requirements include a 5–7 year track record in application systems analysis and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-IT experience.

Qualifications

• Epic certification and experience preferred.

As key member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role leads the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical and financial systems for the Ambulatory process units of The Christ Hospital. The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience. And or an associates degree with more commensurate job related experience.
• YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Epic application certification and experience preferred
• 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience or relevant ambulatory Revenue Cycle background (Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Claims, etc.)
• Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users - both written and verbal
