Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati seeks a qualified IT professional to oversee Epic Professional Billing and Claims for Ambulatory process units. You will lead development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical and financial systems, ensuring patient safety, quality and cost effectiveness.

Requires 5–7 years in application systems analysis or ambulatory Revenue Cycle, with Epic certification and experience preferred.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience.
• And or an associates degree with more commensurate job related experience.
• YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7.
• Epic application certification and experience preferred
• 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience or relevant ambulatory Revenue Cycle background (Charge Capture, Billing, Claims, etc.)
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
• Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements
• Bachelors degree in information systems, nursing, or related discipline
• Strong presentation skills with experience in presenting directly to management and clinicians.

Job Title and Summary

As key member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role leads the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical and financial systems for the Ambulatory process units of The Christ Hospital. The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.
