Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable IT professional to lead oversight, development, and adoption of clinical and financial systems for ambulatory units. You will drive Epic Professional Billing and Claims initiatives, ensure end-user support, and maintain robust revenue cycle practices.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of relevant experience, a degree in information systems or healthcare, and Epic certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or healthcare-related field; or an associate degree with commensurate experience.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in information systems or ambulatory Revenue Cycle roles.
• Epic application certification and experience preferred.
• Experience with ambulatory Revenue Cycle processes (Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Claims).
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal—and ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and to work with technical teams and clinicians.

As key member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role leads the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical and financial systems for the Ambulatory process units of The Christ Hospital. The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience. And or an associates degree with more commensurate job related experience.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Epic application certification and experience preferred
• 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience or relevant ambulatory Revenue Cycle background (Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Claims, etc.)
• Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously
