Job summary

Powers Health is seeking an Epic Pharmacist App Analyst to provide application support for the Willow EPIC system. The role acts as a second line of support and helps maximize clinical system value for pharmacy operations.

As a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to build and support activities, coordinate with IT and the Epic build team, and travel onsite for projects as required. This role is primarily remote with on-site travel commitments.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure (Indiana) or eligible for reciprocity.
• 3–5 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Reporting to the Epic Application Director, the Epic Pharmacist App Analyst provides application support and user assistance within the Willow application. The Epic Pharmacist App Analyst is responsible for the full system cycle, whether it is a new system or an upgrade. They act as a second level of support and an extension of the help desk as part of the day-to-day support duties. The Epic Pharmacist App Analyst understands their assigned applications, their value to the business aspects of clinical operations and assists users to maximize the utility of the clinical system. Additionally, as a licensed pharmacist, is able to apply this knowledge to the build and support of clinical applications. In this role, the Epic Pharmacist App Analyst serves as the liaison between the user community, IT, the Epic build team and other departments as necessary. This position is primarily remote but you must be able to travel onsite to our facilities for projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school or College of Pharmacy.
• 3-5 years of hospital pharmacy work experience required. Experience in the field of pharmacy informatics preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Indiana (or eligible for reciprocity)
• Proven skills in problem solving.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Working knowledge of multiple software applications, systems analysis/design, integration/design, or web applications/design.
• General understanding of underlying technologies: hardware, networking, Intranet, Internet, PDA, bar coding and wireless.
• Ability and commitment to meet deadlines and cope in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working well in a diverse, multidisciplinary team and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams.
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations.
• Epic proficiency/certification preferred or must obtain Epic proficiency/certification during introductory period.
