Job summary

Delta Dental Ins. is seeking an Epic Patient Access & Experience Applications Lead in California. The role combines hands-on Epic analyst work with people leadership to design, implement, and optimize registration, scheduling, pre-visit workflows, and MyChart engagement.

You will partner with Patient Access, Call Center, Operations, Patient Experience and IT to translate requirements into scalable Epic solutions while guiding governance, testing, and release management across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting enterprise healthcare applications with at least 1 year in a people leadership or lead analyst role.
• Extensive hands-on Epic Patient Access and Patient Engagement experience including Cadence, Prelude, MyChart and related workflows.
• Active Epic certification in Cadence/Prelude or relevant modules is required, with preferred MyChart, Hello World or Cheers certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Epic Patient Access and Patient Experience apps for registration, scheduling, pre-visit intake, MyChart, and campaigns.
• Act as senior technical authority for Epic access apps, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Epic access analysts and manage multi-site deployments and go-live support.
