Job summary

North Oaks Health System seeks an AMB/ORDERS APP MANAGER to oversee application teams supporting Ambulatory, Orders, and Decision Support systems. The role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating build activities across testing, training, and production environments.

The position requires strong communication, leadership, and Epic-related certifications, with travel to off-site locations as needed. A hospital IT background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an ambulatory setting or related clinical field.
• Epic Application certification or timely attainment as required by North Oaks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize day-to-day work effort of all Application teams.
• Establish and monitor timelines to ensure completion of work/projects.
• Set clear performance expectations for quality and hold team members accountable.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all team members with testing and change control processes across all systems.
• Coordinate and lead projects as needed and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain high customer service standards and update leadership on progress.
• Ensure orientation, training and cross-training for back-up coverage.
• Provide expertise and serve as a resource for issue resolution and system builds.
