Job summary

Union Health is seeking an experienced IS Application Manager‑Epic Ambulatory to lead strategy, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of Epic Ambulatory applications.

This leader will partner with physicians, nursing leaders, operational stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure the Epic platform delivers exceptional provider experience while advancing clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, clinical informatics, or related field.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years in healthcare IT, enterprise application support, or application management.
• Minimum of two years in leadership, team lead, supervision, or mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of assigned applications including planning, implementation, and upgrade management.
• Partner with operational, clinical, financial, and executive leaders to improve workflows and adoption.
• Manage and develop analyst teams, set expectations, coach staff, and create growth pathways.
• Establish and manage roadmaps, governance, change control, testing, and communication plans.
• Ensure applications are reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional work with project managers, infrastructure, analytics, security, and vendors.
