Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Architect of Surgical Efficiency to safeguard OpTime data integrity, perioperative charging, and revenue cycle. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, you will design, implement, and support advanced perioperative systems.

You will train staff, optimize supplies, and deliver data-driven reports to guide surgical operations. A RN license and 5+ years perioperative experience are required, with expertise in Epic OpTime preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.
Minimum five years of perioperative experience.
RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
Experience with EMR systems preferred, specifically perioperative modules.

Responsibilities

Guard Data & Revenue Integrity: Own the accuracy of OpTime data and surgical charging across perioperative areas.
Champion System Optimization: Lead design, implementation, and daily support for perioperative software applications.
Empower the Team: Train staff on updates, workflows, and best practices.
Optimize Supplies & Preference Cards: Review cards and supply chains to keep operations lean and accurate.
Drive Data-Backed Decisions: Compile and deliver statistics and reports shaping surgical services.
Solve Tech Challenges: Tackle major system projects and provide rapid troubleshooting.
