Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced Clinical Information Systems Analyst to provide intermediate level support for multi-user clinical operating systems, hardware and software tools. You will install, configure, maintain, train users, and translate end user needs into optimal configuration and workflow.

You will work with system users, ITS colleagues, vendors, and project teams to design and upgrade EMR functionality, develop training materials, and support quality

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical Degree required.
• Minimum five years of IT application or related operational experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• Specific IT application certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate level support of multi-user clinical operating systems, hardware and software tools.
• Facilitates assessment of end user needs into optimal configuration and build of clinical applications.
• Maintains and updates training materials and conducts trainings as appropriate.
• Collaborates with users, ITS groups and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Participates in planning, design, development, training, implementation and evaluation of clinical information systems.
• Offers on-call support and contributes to budgeting for ITS software, hardware and maintenance costs.
