ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP is seeking a self‑motivated EHR Scribe for the Memorial City office in Houston, TX. The role focuses on accurate documentation of patient encounters within the electronic health record system.

You will enter chief complaints, vitals, medications, and lab results, transcribe orders, and ensure documentation fidelity while upholding HIPAA standards. The position supports clinical teams and improves workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or education in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Experience using Epic EMR is required or highly desired.
• Strong typing and computer skills with ability to learn multiple EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters with accuracy in the EHR system.
• Enter patient data such as chief complaints, vitals, medications, allergies, and labs during appointments.
• Transcribe verbal orders and consults into the EHR while maintaining fidelity to source information.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Support providers by optimizing EHR workflows and minimizing admin burdens.
• Review notes for accuracy and clarity, resolving discrepancies with clinicians.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
