Job summary

Seattle Children’s seeks Learning Experience Designers to design, develop, and maintain engaging training for enterprise IT systems, focusing on Epic. The role blends instructional design, multimedia production, and healthcare IT context, with AI-enabled workflows to enhance efficiency.

This hybrid Seattle position requires a 3+ year track record in instructional design, proficiency with Storyline/Rise and Camtasia/Snagit, and Epic certification within 3 months if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Health Informatics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and content development.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise and TechSmith Camtasia/Snagit.
• Ability to translate complex clinical IT information into learner-friendly content.
• Epic certification within 3 months of employment if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain engaging training content for enterprise IT systems with emphasis on Epic.
• Leverage modern digital tools and AI to improve content creation efficiency and learner experience.
• Publish and maintain content across LMS and support content updates as systems evolve.
