Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Manager of IT Systems & Applications to direct day-to-day coordination of the application team and oversee Epic ClinDoc, Stork, Rehab, and related integrated solutions. You will manage analysts, drive project execution, and align application roadmaps with strategic goals across outpatient services.

The role requires strong PM and communication skills, plus experience in healthcare IT environments and a track record of staff development and cross-functional

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (or equivalent).
• 7+ years experience in operational or IT applications support.
• 5+ years in IT implementing and supporting applications.
• Knowledge of clinic-based provider, nurse, clinician workflows and best practices.
• Basic project management skills (lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage plan).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with TCS leadership to collect, analyze and document artifacts and translate problems into initiatives.
• Develops and monitors the development roadmap for the applications in the assigned area.
• Responsible for employment related decision making in conjunction with department Director.
• Responsible for team member performance evaluations, merit and promotion decisions.
• Provides mentorship to the team in application support and leadership development.
• Develops relationships with business stakeholders.
• Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
• Defines work assignment and workload management for teams.
• Escalation point for issue resolution in the area of influence.
• Assists with departmental budget planning and resourcing.
