Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to lead development, configuration, and ongoing support for hospital systems, primarily Epic Orders and Epic Bugsy Infection Control. You will analyze workflows, data, and technical documents to design, build, test, install, and maintain solutions across care sites.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Certification in Epic Orders, Epic Bugsy Infection Control, or Epic ClinDoc.
• Experience translating clinical workflows into IT solutions.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of infection control workflows and hospital data.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical and accreditation standards into application designs.
• Analyze release notes and specs to plan upgrades and new functionality.
• Identify gaps and future-state opportunities in IT applications.
• Provide ongoing analysis, technical and functional support across the organization.
• Lead tasks, communicate risks, and manage timelines and issues.
• Communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Represent the application area in operational meetings at multiple levels.
• Mentor teammates in design and support.
• Lead testing efforts and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Participate in after-hours support/on-call rotation.
