Job summary

A healthcare IT company in Morganton, NC is seeking an IT Deployment and Testing Technician to support their IT infrastructure. The role includes deploying and configuring computers, performing software installations, and conducting end-to-end testing for Epic systems. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT hardware deployment, troubleshooting or similar roles.
• Experience with Epic or other electronic health records systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Perform complete end-to-end testing on devices for Epic readiness.
• Maintain records of deployed hardware, configurations, and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff to schedule installations and testing.
