Job summary

The Wilshire Group is seeking an Interface Engineer to design, implement, and support Epic interfaces using Bridges and Cloverleaf. You will collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams to ensure secure data exchange across systems.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of healthcare interface experience, deep knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, X12, and APIs, and strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting healthcare interfaces in hospital or healthcare IT.
• Hands-on experience with Infor Cloverleaf interface engine.
• Experience with Epic Bridges and supporting Epic integrations.
• Knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, X12, XML/JSON, and APIs.
• Experience with interface troubleshooting and incident/change management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support interfaces between Epic and third-party systems using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf.
• Analyze requirements for new interfaces and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain interface specifications, mappings, and technical documentation.
• Monitor processing, error queues, and message delivery to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with analysts, vendors, and IT teams to support interfaces.
