Job summary

InterScripts, Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks an experienced Epic Inpatient Orders & ASAP Analyst to join our healthcare IT team.

You will implement, configure, support, and optimize the Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP modules, collaborating with clinicians and IT specialists to streamline inpatient order management and emergency care workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on Epic experience, certification, and strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP.
• Epic Inpatient Orders and/or Epic ASAP Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and CPOE.
• Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support the Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP applications.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, validate, and deploy application enhancements and system changes.
• Configure and support inpatient order entry, CPOE, ED workflows, order sets, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
• Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Perform testing (unit, integrated, UAT) and document workflows.
• Collaborate with other Epic analysts to ensure integration with other Epic modules.
• Ensure configurations comply with Epic best practices and regulations.
