Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP.
• Epic Inpatient Orders and/or Epic ASAP Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and CPOE.
• Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support the Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP applications.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, validate, and deploy application enhancements and system changes.
• Configure and support inpatient order entry, CPOE, ED workflows, order sets, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
• Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Perform testing (unit, integrated, UAT) and document workflows.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedEpic Inpatient Orders & ASAP Analystto join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing theEpic Inpatient OrdersandEpic ASAPmodules. The candidate will collaborate with emergency department clinicians, physicians, nurses, pharmacy, and technical teams to streamline inpatient order management and emergency care workflows while ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support the Epic Inpatient Orders and Epic ASAP applications.
  
• Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from emergency department, inpatient, and clinical stakeholders.
  
• Design, build, test, validate, and deploy application enhancements and system changes.
  
• Configure and support inpatient order entry, computerized provider order entry (CPOE), emergency department workflows, order sets, clinical documentation, and care coordination.
  
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
  
• Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects.
  
• Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation.
