Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an Epic Application Analyst III to drive advanced analysis of Epic design and workflows. The role supports project delivery, requirements gathering, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid remote/on-site setting in the United States.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in the field, and Epic module proficiency with ongoing certifications. Flexibility for after-hours on-call and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Must obtain and maintain certifications in Epic modules per management guidance.
• Must be self-initiated, work with little supervision, and communicate effectively.
• Must be flexible with after-hours on-call rotation and some travel.

Responsibilities

• Conducts intermediate to advanced analysis of Epic application design and system workflows.
• Independently manages assigned projects and ensures timely delivery.
• Leads requirements gathering and facilitates design sessions with stakeholders.
• Translates business needs into system solutions with minimal supervision.
• Develops and maintains documentation for Epic and integrated third-party applications.
• Maintains knowledge of assigned Epic modules and related tools.
• Assists with implementation of new Epic modules and enhancements.
• Mentors analysts and shares knowledge across the team.
• Interacts with internal and external customers and stakeholders professionally.
• Participates in on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
