Carilion Clinic is seeking an Epic Application Analyst III to support hospital billing systems, performing analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation. An onsite schedule is preferred, with remote/hybrid options possible for designated states, including Arkansas.

You will lead requirements sessions, translate business needs into practical Epic solutions, and develop documentation for supported Epic and integrated applications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• 3 vendor/industry certifications/proficiencies required or determined by management, plus Epic module proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Conducts intermediate to advanced analysis of Epic application design and system workflows.
• Independently manages assigned projects and work efforts, ensuring timely delivery.
• Leads requirements gathering and facilitates design sessions with stakeholders.
• Translates business needs into system solutions with minimal supervision.
• Develops and maintains documentation and knowledge resources for Epic and integrated third-party apps.
• Gains working knowledge of assigned Epic module(s) and related tools.
• Assists with implementation of new Epic modules and system enhancements.
• Mentors analysts and shares knowledge across the team.
• Acts as a liaison across multiple Epic modules, teams, and stakeholders.
• Interacts with internal/external customers professionally.
• Uses independent judgment within guidelines; escalates issues when needed.
• Identifies opportunities for system improvements and optimization.
• Follows change management processes and tracks progress.
• Participates in on-call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
