Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks an Epic Analyst focused on the Healthy Planet module to support Epic Healthy Planet workflows and system builds. The role emphasizes Risk Adjustment/HCC and Compass Rose, with a target for Healthy Planet and Ambulatory certifications.

The position is remote with residency requirements in designated states; Level 2/3 alignment possible based on experience. Expect collaboration across clinical and financial teams and adherence to IS protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of progressive healthcare operations experience or 5 years with no degree.
• Epic certification in a specific area within first 90 days of training.
• Working knowledge of assigned operational department areas.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate, maintain and support Epic Healthy Planet.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve goals.
• Represent Emory Digital and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Mentor other analysts on methods and processes.
• Manage complex projects independently.
• Provide Epic and other applications support, file maintenance, and builds for updates.
• Assist with Epic Security assignments and maintenance.
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Provide project management services with some oversight.
• Follow Emory IS project management protocol.
• Advocate user perspective with comprehensive support plan and documentation.
• Stay current on Epic version training for applicable certifications.
