Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Epic Analyst specialized in the Healthy Planet module to join the Epic Healthy Planet application team. The role supports Risk Adjustment/HCC and Compass Rose, with focus on design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Epic Healthy Planet.

The ideal candidate will hold Healthy Planet and Ambulatory certifications, collaborate across interdisciplinary groups, mentor other analysts, and ensure compliance with project management protocols while providing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or other healthcare operational areas or 5 years with no degree.
• Epic certification must be obtained for the assigned area within the first 90 days of completing training if not already completed.
• Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in the assigned operational department areas.
• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills; ability to interact with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, testing, validation, maintenance and ongoing support of Epic Healthy Planet.
• Work across interdisciplinary workgroups to accomplish goals as a team.
• Represent the Emory Digital team and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across departments.
• Mentor other analysts in methods and processes and implementation practices.
• Manage complex projects independently.
• Serve as business partner with service lines, departments, and coworkers.
• Provide Epic and other applications support, file maintenance, and build for updates and upgrades.
• Assist with Epic Security assignment and maintenance as appropriate.
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
• Provide project management support with some oversight.
• Follow EHC IS project management protocol.
• Stay current on Epic version training for applicable certifications.
