The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department is seeking a full-time Epic Analyst 2 to support Epic HB billing workflows and maintain the application end-to-end. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Hospital Billing Administration with charging, contracts, and claims/remittance experience.
• Epic HB certification required; additional Epic certifications (PB, Resolute) preferred.
• Experience with Epic upgrade cycles, testing, and documentation.
• Experience in multi-hospital or integrated delivery network environment.
• Familiarity with CMS regulations, payer requirements, and billing compliance.
• Knowledge of Epic tools such as Chronicles, Clarity, Charge Router, Contracts, WQ, DNB, and Reporting Workbench.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and train others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and maintain Epic HB applications to support hospital billing workflows.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into system specifications and solutions.
• Lead and participate in system testing, validation, and go-live support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to billing operations.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and billing standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Support change management processes and adhere to IT governance policies.
• Strong understanding of hospital billing workflows and revenue cycle operations.
