Job summary

Amerit Consulting is seeking an Epic Grand Central/Prelude Analyst for a 12-month contract with strong remote work and quarterly onsite support in California. The role requires Grand Central and Prelude certifications and at least four years of Epic experience, with after-hours on-call rotation and travel reimbursement as needed.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Schedule is Mon–Fri, Pacific Time, with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Epic Grand Central/Prelude analyst.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing software applications.
• Design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within the portfolio or service line.
• Acquire in‑depth knowledge of the software and workflows and understand applicable policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business owners, vendors, and ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions.
• Focus on Charge RTE and Prelude builds, implement new requests, optimize workflows, and assist with integration projects.
• Handle tickets, projects, go‑live support, upgrade support, and on‑call rotation every 7 weeks.

Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Epic Grand Central/Prelude Analyst.

• Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time with after-hours support as needed (will be on-call every 7 weeks).
• The role is primarily remote. Onsite 2 days per quarter or as needed for support.

Description

• The Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications.
• They design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within their portfolio and/or service line.
• The Analyst must achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application.
• The Analyst works with business owners, vendors, and other ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests.
• Analyst will be focused on Charge RTE and Prelude build related to implementing new requests, optimization of current workflows, and input as needed for integration projects across the health system.
• Scope of work will include tickets, projects, go-live support, upgrade support, and on-call rotation every 7 weeks.
