Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead Epic Grand Central patient flow and capacity management engagements for hospitals and health systems in the United States. You will translate operational needs into system design, oversee testing, training readiness, and go-live support, and work with hospital leaders to optimize bed management and transfer processes.
The role requires strong stakeholder communication, project leadership, and Epic Grand Central certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Epic Grand Central certification or equivalent with ability to obtain/renew.
- Experience leading Epic Grand Central implementation or optimization.
- Strong understanding of hospital patient flow, bed management, and capacity.
- Experience leading project teams and client-facing workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Lead Epic Grand Central implementation, optimization, assessment, and stabilization engagements.
- Design and validate patient movement, bed planning, and transfer workflows.
- Coordinate with executives, clinicians, informatics, and application teams to implement solutions.
- Develop testing, go-live, and post-live stabilization plans.
