Insight Global is seeking an Epic analyst who understands hospital throughput and operational workflows, not just the technology. The role focuses on patient flow, bed placement, transfer center operations, ADT workflows, and capacity management to improve throughput.

The ideal candidate will bring Epic Grand Central experience and collaborate with nursing leadership, patient placement teams, transport, environmental services, and revenue cycle stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Epic Grand Central experience or certification
• 3+ years of healthcare IT, application analyst, or systems support experience
• Experience with patient flow, capacity management, ADT workflows, or hospital operations
• Experience with application build, configuration, workflow analysis, and production support
• Strong understanding of patient movement, transfers, admissions, discharges, and throughput processes
• Ability to gather requirements and translate operational needs into system solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Nursing, patient access, bed management, transfer center, or hospital operations experience
• Experience supporting environmental services, patient transport, or capacity management workflows
• Experience with billing-related workflows and ADT-driven revenue cycle processes
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience working with integrated systems beyond Epic
• Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or hospital systems

Candidates who understand how patient movement impacts both hospital operations and billing outcomes will stand out. They need someone who can connect workflow optimization, operational efficiency, and Epic build to improve the overall patient experience and hospital throughput.

Skills and Requirements

• Epic Certification in applicable module


• 3+ years of healthcare IT, application analyst, or systems support experience


• Experience with patient flow, capacity management, ADT workflows, or hospital operations


• Experience with application build, configuration, workflow analysis, and production support


• Strong understanding of patient movement, transfers, admissions, discharges, and throughput processes
