Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Greensboro, NC seeks a Manager-level IT professional to oversee Epic EHR systems administration, enhancements, upgrades, and deployments. You will coordinate with Epic managers, implementation teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful releases and smooth operation across clinical IT environments.

Qualified candidates will have four years with EPIC or similar health IT, plus two years of supervisory experience and a related degree.

Qualifications

Minimum four (4) years experience working with EPIC or comparable health system software OR Minimum four (4) years scripting or programming experience.
Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Care or related field and Minimum eight (8) years working in IT or operations. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

Oversee Epic enhancements, upgrades, and implementations in partnership with application managers, teams, and stakeholders.
Coordinate IT support with business units to align systems with strategy and policy.
Ensure testing and validation activities are completed before deployment of changes.
Manage incidents, outages, and system improvements across enterprise environments.
