Job summary
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Clinical Informatics Analyst to support Providers and Associates with on-the-spot and remote help, troubleshooting, and opportunities to improve clinical information systems. You will promote optimization and adoption of the EHR (Epic) across workflows, gather data, and collaborate with leadership to design and implement improvements.
The role requires experience with healthcare IT, the Epic EMR, and training end users.
Qualifications
- Required - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences.
- Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
- Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Preferred - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Collects, organizes and connects information to determine desired improvements.
- Supports information system implementations and adoption using change management principles.
- Develops understanding of the application functionality, reporting capabilities, interfacing and integration with clinical apps.
- Provides onboarding and training to new providers on EHR best practices and use of documentation tools.
- Promotes adoption of and communicates best practices for Epic applications.
- Tracks and trains adoption of KPIs in the EMR/EHR and serves as liaison between IT and providers.
