Job summary

Great River Health is seeking an Epic Analyst to configure, test, and maintain Epic and related clinical applications across Behavioral Health, Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation services. You will partner with hospital leadership and clinical users to ensure optimal system usage and performance.

You will analyze workflows, customize Epic modules, and support regulatory compliance while developing tests and training materials for clinical staff. Eligible for future hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Must have Epic certification in at least one module or be able to obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Preferred: BA/BS in related field; 1–3 years experience in clinical, operational, or financial workflows relevant to the supported module.
• 1–3 years experience in healthcare IT or clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize clinical workflows by ensuring Epic EHR features align with clinical processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, IT staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on Epic functionality.
• Configure and customize Epic to meet clinical workflows (templates, order sets, etc.).
• Monitor system performance, manage upgrades, and patch/troubleshoot main Epic system.
• Provide training and support to clinical staff for Epic usage.
• Ensure Epic data compliance with HIPAA; manage access control and audit logging.
