Children's Health in Dallas, TX seeks a Clinical Informatics Educator to lead education on the EHR and related health IT systems for a diverse clinical team. The role supports inpatient and outpatient staff, driving adoption and system proficiency across campuses.

The educator will partner with clinical and IT teams to implement training during deployments, manage go-live support, and design ongoing education strategies. Epic certification is required within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of teaching experience in clinical informatics or healthcare education.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, or ED settings, or Epic system experience.
• Instructional design experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide training for physicians, APPs, nurses, and allied health professionals on the EHR and related technologies.
• Design and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to different user groups.
• Coordinate system changes and upgrades communications and address workflow issues between clinical staff and IT teams.
• Conduct ongoing rounding and provide go-live support and follow-up education.
• Configure and maintain training environments for new features and clinical workflows.
