Great River Health in West Burlington, IA is seeking a Health Information Management/Clinical Applications Analyst to configure, test, and maintain the Epic EHR and related clinical systems. You will build relationships with hospital leadership and clinical staff to ensure system usability, performance, and compliant data practices.

You will analyze workflows with clinicians, customize Epic templates and order sets, monitor upgrades, and provide training and support to users.

Formación

• REQUIRED: Epic certification in at least one module or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
• PREFERRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
• Related Field 1-3 years Experience in clinical, operational, or financial workflows relevant to the supported module.
• 1-3 years Experience in healthcare IT or clinical operations.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and optimize clinical workflows by ensuring Epic EHR features align with clinical processes.
• Work with clinicians, IT staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on Epic functionality.
• Configure and customize Epic to meet clinical workflow needs (templates, order sets, etc.).
• Monitor system performance, manage upgrades, and keep Epic updated with latest versions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot Epic EHR issues with IT teams.
• Ensure Epic compliance with HIPAA and data privacy through access controls and auditing.
• Participate in continuous improvement and stay updated on Epic features and healthcare tech trends.
• Test new features, updates, and system changes; conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Provide training to clinical staff and users; create training materials and sessions.
• Ensure Epic data accuracy and accessibility for decision-making and regulatory reporting.
