Job summary

Xtensys is seeking an experienced Epic Cogito BI Manager to lead the BI team, drive strategy, and deliver high‑impact reporting solutions for health systems. You will bridge executives, operations, and analysts to turn data into actionable insights and improved outcomes.

You will travel to client locations for go‑lives and post‑live stabilization, embedding within command centers as needed and coordinating cross‑functional analytics delivery.

Qualifications

• Two to five plus years’ experience managing technical teams or healthcare analytics projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database structures.
• Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, billing, and clinical terminology.
• Track record of managing full‑life‑cycle business intelligence projects.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Talent Development: empower & mentor; manage workloads and on‑call schedules.
• Business Analytics (Cogito): lead Cogito team delivering dashboards and metrics.
• Data Governance, Compliance & Auditing: governance, validation workflows, audits for compliance.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Project Management: charters, phases, post‑go‑live support.
• Operational Optimization: assist budgeting, track metrics, justify resources.
• Performance Metrics: meet SLAs, milestones, and maintain data quality.
