Job summary

Prominence Advisors in the United States seeks a senior Epic BI Developer to lead the Cogito data model migration to a cloud-hosted environment, with Azure as the preferred platform. You will guide customers, validate data integrity, and design dashboards using Cogito reporting tools.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of BI development, strong SQL skills, and deep Epic experience, plus a proven ability to deliver complex projects remotely and mentor client teams throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• Active Cogito Data Model certification.
• Hands-on experience with Cogito tools and reporting platforms.
• Experience migrating Epic Cogito/Caboodle/Clarity to cloud (Azure preferred).
• 5+ years of BI development experience.
• Strong SQL development and cloud data warehouse tuning.
• Epic implementation and optimization experience.
• Knowledge of PHI security/compliance in cloud environments is a plus.
• Ability to deliver projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cogito data model migration from on-premise to a cloud-hosted environment (Azure).
• Validate data integrity, report parity, and performance benchmarks between old and new platforms.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot Cogito reports and dashboards.
• Optimize SQL development and reporting workflows for cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor customers to up-level their analyst skills on Cogito tools and cloud reporting.
• Translate operational requirements into system configuration and data architecture decisions.
• Create migration runbooks and data flow diagrams; manage risks and issues.
• Coordinate across BI, infrastructure, and customer teams; report progress and milestones.
