Epic Clinical Operations Product Manager
We are seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Operations Product Manager. This position will be responsible for defining, managing, and advancing the product strategy for Epic-enabled clinical operations workflows. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, information technology, analytics, and executive stakeholders to identify workflow needs, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable solutions that improve patient care, provider efficiency, operational performance, and end-user adoption.Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the Epic clinical operations product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, clinical priorities, regulatory requirements, and operational performance targets.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand workflow challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into clear product requirements.
- Lead discovery, scoping, prioritization, and execution of Epic enhancements, optimizations, upgrades, and new functionality across assigned clinical workflows.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic-enabled clinical operations, supporting standardization, governance, adoption strategies, and best-practice workflow design.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Epic analysts, informatics teams, technical teams, training partners, and business stakeholders.
- Develop clear business cases, success metrics, implementation plans, and post-implementation reviews to evaluate the impact of product changes.
- Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities, including build readiness, testing, stakeholder communication, change management, training, go-live support, and stabilization.
- Monitor operational and user experience metrics to identify trends, risks, defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, clinical informatics, information technology, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Progressive experience supporting Epic, clinical applications, healthcare operations, clinical informatics, product management, or healthcare technology delivery.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows, patient care operations, and the role of electronic health record systems in supporting care delivery.
- Experience gathering requirements, defining scope, managing priorities, and leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with clinical leaders, operational teams, IT partners, vendors, analysts, and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:Epic certification, accreditation, or demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more clinical or operational Epic modules. One or more active Epic certifications preferred/required, such as:

- Epic Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc)
- Epic Orders
- ASAP
- OpTime / Anesthesia
- Beacon
- Beaker
- IP Willow
- Experience working in an Agile, hybrid product/project, or governance-driven delivery environment.
- Clinical background, clinical informatics experience, or direct experience partnering with providers, nurses, ancillary clinical teams, or ambulatory operations.
- Experience developing product roadmaps, key performance indicators, standard operating models, playbooks, or adoption frameworks.
- Knowledge of change management, training readiness, testing coordination, and post-go-live optimization practices.

- Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) - first 90 days are on fully in office
