Job summary

Largeton Group seeks a Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer (Epic) to develop and deliver comprehensive Epic CDI training for providers and clinical staff. The role combines curriculum design, instructor-led delivery, and hands-on coaching across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with regulatory and system updates.

Epic-certified Principal Trainer with 5+ years of CDI experience is required, along with the ability to translate complex system builds into clear content and to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Epic-certified Principal Trainer in Clinical Documentation with at least 5 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CDI experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet Epic standards.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission and CMS regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations or upgrades.
• Certification in developing Epic training environments (3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Epic clinical documentation training.
• Design and maintain training curricula and materials.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on sessions.
• Act as SME in Epic clinical documentation workflows.
• Translate system builds into user-friendly content and support go-live.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation through feedback and metrics.
• Collaborate with Clinical Informatics for standardization and improvement.
• Participate in governance/workgroups for alignment with standards.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain training environments and documentation.
