Job summary

ClinDCast is seeking a Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer (Epic) to design and deliver training programs for clinical documentation workflows within the Epic system. The role ensures end-users are trained to support accurate, compliant, and efficient documentation practices.

The position involves developing curricula, delivering both in-person and virtual trainings, supporting go-live activities, and collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teams to keep content aligned with Epic

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic Clinical Documentation workflows (e.g., ClinDoc).
• Prior experience as a Principal Trainer or certified Epic trainer preferred.
• Strong instructional design and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training curriculum, materials, and job aids for clinical documentation workflows.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions to clinicians and staff.
• Support go-live activities, including end-user support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align training with workflows and system updates.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update content as needed.
• Stay current with Epic updates, especially related to clinical documentation modules.
