University Hospital in Newark, NJ is seeking a Claims/Remittance Analyst responsible for managing Hospital Billing and Professional Billing claims. The role involves programming within Epic to ensure timely claims and remittance.

Candidates will work closely with financial and IT staff and educate departments on best practices. A Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience is preferred, along with prior Epic experience. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in health-related discipline, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three years of experience in information systems, preferably in a patient care environment.
• Prior Epic experience in relevant applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial, IT, and Revenue Cycle teams to optimize Epic programming.
• Identify and resolve issues in assigned application area.
• Educate teams on best practices within Epic.
