Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an Epic Certified Principal Trainer for our New York City client. The role starts ASAP and runs through 12/31/2026 with potential extensions, requiring on-site presence in the NYC area.

The ideal candidate will hold TED 305 Certification and Epic Certification, bring 2–5 years of Epic EMR experience, and have a track record in full life-cycle implementations, training delivery, and digital content creation.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification required.
• Clinical background preferred.
• Must be able to report on-site within 48 hours; overtime may be required.

Job description

Our New York City client is seeking an Epic Certified Principal Trainer to start ASAP through 12/31/2026 with possible extensions. Big Bang Go-Live scheduled for Q1 2027.

Must be able to be on-site in the NYC area.

Requirements:

• Epic Ambulatory Principal Trainer with TED 305 Certification, MST Build, E-learning, and digital content creation experience.
• 2-5 years' experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications; Epic Certification required.
• At least 2 full life-cycle implementations preferred; clinical background preferred.
• Experience analyzing and documenting business requirements, developing functional/technical requirements documents, and communicating requirements to technical personnel via data models, process models, and flowcharts.
• Must be able to report on-site within 48 hours; role requires availability beyond regularly scheduled hours.
