Job summary

Cottage Health seeks an Epic Cadence Analyst Sr in the Epic Applications department. The role analyzes Cadence configurations, develops, tests, and implements scheduling and referral workflows (Cheers, HelloWorld, Welcome), and supports related business processes to meet operational needs.

Strong knowledge of clinical revenue cycle workflows is essential for success. The candidate should have 5+ years in clinical/revenue cycle system implementations and a valid Epic Cadence certification; RHIA

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in nursing, IT, allied health, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle information applications and systems in healthcare or equivalent experience.
• Epic Cadence certification is required; RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Epic Cadence configurations and workflows to meet operational requirements.
• Develop, test, implement, support and maintain scheduling and referral workflows (Cheers, HelloWorld, Welcome).
• Apply knowledge of clinical workflows and revenue cycle processes to optimize systems.

Cottage Health seeks anEpic Cadence Analyst Srfor Epic Applications department responsible foranalyzing configures, developing, tests, implementing, supporting and maintaining Epic scheduling, referrrals and related workflows (Cheers, HelloWorld, Welcome) solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements. Obtains and maintains in depth knowledge of software functionality and acquires as well as utilizes knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented. Areas of responsibility may be: Cadence, Hello World, Welcome application, Cheers, and CRM. Experience with patient registration workflows, such as GrandCentral and Prelude will be helpful thought not necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:

• Minimum:Bachelor's Degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in revenue cycle information applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Minimum:Must have valid Epic Cadence certification
• Preferred: RHIA.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum: Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to appropriate revenue cycle department.

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Minimum: 5 years of experience in similar clinical/revenue cycle system implementation, support, and/or project management.
