Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer - Epic BI Developer to design and deliver reports and dashboards using Epic tools like Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle, Slicer Dicer, Radar, and BI platforms.

The role emphasizes ETL work with SSIS and building automated data delivery for end users. The candidate will model data, validate requirements with EMR and Revenue Cycle teams, and ensure data quality across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; IT/CS/Data Analytics preferred.
Epic certification or accreditation in Cogito and Clarity required.
5+ years SQL programming with relational databases.
5+ years BI data models and reporting tools experience.
5+ years Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito suite experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain data models for reporting and data discovery.
Follow SDLC, change control, release and incident processes for reports and dashboards.
Leverage BI data models to drive standards and quality of reporting.
Collaborate with team, architects, and project managers with minimal supervision.
Lead medium to large projects and mentor junior staff.
Provide data quality guidance and respond to data issues in Epic and data warehouse.
