Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA seeks a Manager - IS Epic Reporting to lead a biosphere of analysts and engineers. You will guide design, development and QA of Epic-based reports, ensuring regulatory alignment and stakeholder satisfaction across acute and ambulatory care settings.

You will mentor staff, manage projects from scope to implementation, and collaborate with informatics and CMIO teams to optimize data delivery and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years of reporting experience focusing on clinical/business analytics and supervision of direct reports.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Epic reporting tools including Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle, Slicer Dicer, Radar, Reporting Workbench; BI/ETL tools.
• Thorough understanding of database tools, report validation, and data warehouses.
• Epic certification in Cogito/Caboodle/Clarity tools administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops report specifications with IS Informatics and stakeholders.
• Supervises QA on application functionality and adheres to PM standards.
• Oversees project schedules, estimates, and implementation milestones.
• Provides clinical/technical guidance and performance training to team members.
• Maintains service excellence and regular user communications; supports audits/regulatory needs.
• Interviews and evaluates applicants; conducts performance reviews of direct reports.
• Ensures end-user training and adherence to procedures; manages ticketed issues per SLAs.
