Job summary

El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking an IT Epic Analyst–Cogito for the Information Systems BI team. The role focuses on gathering business requirements, translating them into technical BI solutions, and developing dashboards and reports using BI tools.

The candidate will collaborate with end users and development teams, ensuring data architecture and reporting meet user needs and SLA expectations. Epic Cogito certifications are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years’ experience working with T-SQL, Power BI, statistical analysis and other applications.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.

Responsibilities

• Leads requirements gathering sessions, analyzes requirements, designs, and develops analytical projects with users.
• Elicits requirements using interviews, surveys, and other methods.
• Leads development of metrics, dashboards, and reports using BI tools.
• Serves as liaison between business and Analyst team; works with Architects/DBAs/Developers to translate needs.
• Provides recommendations for data architecture, strategy, and scale of information.
