Qualifications

• Current Epic certifications in ClinDoc and Ambulatory.
• At least 5 years of Epic application analyst experience, including 2+ years in behavioral health build.
• At least 2 completed Epic go-lives and 2 full-cycle Epic implementations involving behavioral health build.
• Hands-on experience with Epic clinical documentation and workflow configuration (navigators, SmartForms, flowsheets, note templates).
• Solid knowledge of behavioral health regulatory requirements (42 CFR Part 2, CA Medi-Cal BH documentation and billing).
• Ability to translate clinical/operational requirements into system configurations and to troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure Epic navigators, SmartForms, flowsheets, note templates, SmartTexts, and preference lists.
• Build assessments, treatment plans, episodes, facility structures, orders, and referral lists.
• Support consent workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Write and execute test scripts, log defects, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Triage and resolve production tickets for live behavioral health departments.
• Document configuration and build activities in build tracker and Sherlock.
• Present build updates and support end-user training, go-live, and command center.
• Work independently and communicate effectively with clinicians, QM, and leadership.
