Job summary

HCLTech in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Epic Beaker specialist to support build, configuration, maintenance and optimization of Epic Beaker systems. You will translate lab and business requirements into effective Beaker solutions and maintain workflows including orders, results reporting, microbiology, anatomic pathology and clinical pathology processes.

You will troubleshoot production issues within SLAs, participate in testing, go-live support, and collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of experience supporting Epic Beaker implementations, enhancements, or managed services.
Strong understanding of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and healthcare workflows.
Experience in application configuration, testing, production support, and defect management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to independently manage medium-complexity assignments and client interactions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust and scalable end-to-end Epic Beaker solutions.
Enhance Beaker applications to incorporate new features or modify existing ones.
Tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Identify and address bottlenecks to optimize application performance.
Communicate with team members and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
