Job summary

Guidehouse’s Health Technology Consulting practice seeks an Associate Director, Epic Clinical Program Manager (Laboratory & Pathology) to lead clinical technology transformations across our Commercial Health client portfolio, focusing on laboratory and pathology services. You will drive Epic Beaker initiatives, manage executive relationships, and guide large multi-workstream engagements.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in healthcare IT consulting, laboratory systems, EHR implementation, or laboratory operations.
• Deep Epic Beaker expertise with Beaker CP/AP certifications.
• Experience leading large-scale laboratory, pathology, or Epic implementation programs.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders and complex multi-workstream engagements.
• Knowledge of CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission, and laboratory accreditation requirements.
• Experience leading consulting teams and developing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technology transformation programs from planning through stabilization, ensuring delivery of technology, operations, and business objectives.
• Serve as primary liaison across laboratory operations, pathology, IT, Epic teams, infrastructure, interface teams, DI, RALS, and third-party vendors.
• Deliver Epic Beaker and Laboratory expertise including implementation, optimization, testing, validation, and change control.
• Grow the practice through client growth, proposal development, and thought leadership activities.
• Lead consulting teams across multiple workstreams with coaching, staffing oversight, and talent development.
