Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Manager of IT Applications to lead teams delivering Epic Beaker implementations, support, and optimization across departments. You will collaborate with IT and operational stakeholders to design and deploy solutions that meet business needs and ensure reliability of Epic and related integrations.

The role reports to the Director of IT Applications and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor coordination to maintain a high-performing IT applications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is highly recommended.
Minimum of three years IT healthcare experience.
Experience with Epic EHR is a plus.
Knowledge of industry standard practices in application support.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage teams delivering implementation, support, and optimization of Epic and 3rd party applications.
Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure cohesive product offerings.
Oversee recruiting, hiring, and performance management in partnership with HR.
Develop budgets and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Provide high level project oversight to meet SLA compliance.
Promote teamwork across IT departments and communicate with stakeholders.
