Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Applications Analyst II to gather business requirements, develop functional specs, and build IT solutions that align with business objectives. This role operates with minimal supervision and mentors level I analysts.

The candidate will install, upgrade, and support applications, coordinate end-user support, and provide go-live assistance while translating end-user needs into actionable specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years IT experience (6 years if no degree) and/or 2 years of Clinical experience (6 years if no degree).
• Solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shares knowledge with Applications Analyst I and mentors the team.
• Installs or upgrades applications and configurations; validates work by Analyst I.
• Coordinates end-user support activities and participates in facility meetings.
• Provides go-live support for new applications, modules, and functionality.
• Analyzes business/clinical needs and creates system specifications from user requirements.
• Creates test plans and tests new systems or upgrades; documents outcomes for review.
