Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Applications Analyst II to gather business requirements, perform needs assessments, and develop functional specifications for IT solutions that support business objectives. This role works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for junior analysts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years IT or clinical experience, and strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience (6 years if no degree) and/or 2 years of Clinical experience (6 years if no degree).
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision.
• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
• Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
• Collaborates with other team members across the department.
• Demonstrates self-direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience.

• Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or, where applicable, other relevant applications experience, per the department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management.
